TKO

A TKO is the Bullboard's version of being banned.

History

TKOs were created when the new shitty board was created back in 2005. When the moderator feels a member has done something in violation of the Prawn Song TOS, said member is often subject to being TKO'd. There have been many periods were the moderator goes on wild banning binges and we suffer gravely. Some of the most recent ones were in 2007 shortly after Prawn Song got fed up with th amount of scat porn links and Ler coke jokes prevalent on the Bullboard.

Controversy

There have been many instances where the majority of the board felt that a TKO was given out unfairly. On such occurances, the board has been known to be filled with threads condemning the moderator(s) and arguements to grant forgiveness to the banned member.

The effectiveness of the TKO is often called into question, seeing as how banned members can often simply log in with a different username (as long as the member was not IP banned). TKOing is often seen as a pointless act.
